Every Spring the Friends of Noe Valley produce an amazing walking tour of trees, plants, shrubs and flowers in Noe Valley, many of which are hidden from public view or simply off the beaten path. The popular tours offer participants the opportunity to enjoy many hidden gems in the neighborhood, and a portion of the proceeds are donated to a neighborhood non-profit for greening or beautification purposes. In 2017 more than 200 people visited nine beautiful gardens, and the donation beneficiary was the Noe Valley Town Square for additional greenery and moveable planters.
